FinTechs have more similarities with technology startups and more scalable revenue models than a traditional bank, thus presenting a great complementarity with the banking industry.
The finance-technology binomial has been with us for many years. However, in recent years we have witnessed a true revolution in this field, with the fintech phenomenon (an acronym for “finance+technology”, or the application of new technologies to the financial system) being a good example of this.

In line with these developments are the specialized Insurtechs, with the acceptance of the use of telematics technology for vehicle insurance, pet insurance, etc….
